IACC Makes $5,000 Matching Disaster Relief Donation
Board Asks Members to Share Their Stories of Providing Support
There have been an unprecedented number of natural disasters this fall that have impacted the U.S. and it’s territories. The devastating impact of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria and the wildfires raging across California and other Western states have challenged relief agencies and spread resources thin.
In September, the IACC Board of Directors asked IACC members to step up and make donations to the Red Cross or other aid organizations and pledged to make a matching donation from IACC of up to $5,000 as well if members raised at least $5,000. We are pleased to announce that the goal has been met and IACC’s $5,000 donation has been made!
We would like, however, to continue to collect information about members’ activities and donations. We think it is a valuable story to share about how this industry steps up and provides support for communities in need.
